Rontea • June 10, 2026 9:51 AM Persistent adversaries never seem to learn that legal orders are just as serious as technical defenses—ignore them and the consequences will escalate. Clive Robinson • June 10, 2026 9:52 AM @ ALL, From the article, ‘NSO has been seeking to overturn the order blocking it from targeting WhatsApp users, arguing that the company will “suffer irreparable harm”.’ I really can not believe that… Look at it this way, A court gives out an order against a burglar to stop them entering private residences from which the owners have told them they are not allowed or welcome in any way. The burglar then appeals because this will stop the carrying out their unlawful trade there for they will “suffer irreparable harm”. How would you vote, to allow the burglar to carry out their unlawful trade against innocent members of the public. Or as the burglar has already been caught illegally breaking the order, order a much harsher punishment? Me I’d vote for all the NSO directors to suffer a considerable imprisonment in a “panopticon” type environment and sequestration of all assets not just they but members of their family etc hold. Sadly we are nolonger allowed to use “Old Testament” times style punishments so nailing up in a public place would be frowned upon… KC • June 10, 2026 1:38 PM Weird that NSO persists on WhatsApp. There must be other vectors? Wasn’t aware that CISA ‘lists WhatsApp as an example of a secure messaging service for highly targeted individuals — officials in “senior government, military, or political positions.”’ https://www.accessnow.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brief-of-Amici-Curiae.pdf Ch1ffr3punk • June 10, 2026 2:04 PM Forget NSO and it’s Pegasus stuff etc. Finally we have now AEC to protect ourselves, against such online threats! https://github.com/Ch1ffr3punk/AEC lurker • June 10, 2026 2:22 PM @Clive Robinson re Old Testament style punishments NSO operate from a so-called nation state whose government are mentally locked in the Old Testament. So yes, I agree with you that “fire and sword” would be an appropriate punishment for their behaviour against the rest of the world. Oh, ALF, I thought you liked f/\ggots. You know I love you, ALF. I’ll go down on you, ALF. Truth Be Told... • June 10, 2026 3:23 PM …anyone who thinks that NSO would survive 1 hour, not one day, without D@$$0M’s blessing is extremely delusional and shoul be required to go back to KinderGarten.
