The CVE-2026-57456 vulnerability in Vim (CVSS 7.8 HIGH) allows arbitrary code execution via malicious Python docstrings during omni-completion. Affected versions include Vim prior to version 9.2.0699, and users must upgrade to the patched version 9.2.0699.
