The plaintiffs, including journalist Thanasis Koukakis, lawyers, and intelligence officials, are each seeking €1 million in moral damages. Their devices were reportedly hacked between 2020 and 2021. The lawsuits target Intellexa SA and 13 associated individuals, including founder Tal Dilian. Predator spyware, developed by Intellexa and its associated consortium of companies, has been implicated in numerous surveillance operations. Despite repeated denials from the Greek government, a probe revealed that at least 87 high-profile Greeks were targeted using zero-day vulnerabilities in Chrome and Android exploited via malicious links.
