USN-8544-1: LuaJIT vulnerabilities

Multiple critical vulnerabilities in LuaJIT (CVE-2024-25176, CVSS 9.8; CVE-2024-25178, CVSS 9.1; CVE-2024-25177, CVSS 7.5) allow an attacker to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code by providing specially crafted inputs. All versions of LuaJIT up to and including 2.1.0 are affected. Ubuntu has released patched packages for its supported LTS releases, and a standard system update will apply the necessary fixes.
