CVE-2026-57433 Storable versions before 3.41 for Perl have a signed integer overflow when deserializing a crafted SX_HOOK record

CVE-2026-57433 (CVSS 9.8 CRITICAL) is a signed integer overflow vulnerability in the Perl Storable module that allows remote code execution when deserializing a maliciously crafted SX_HOOK record. All versions of the `nwclark storable` module prior to version 3.41 are affected, and users must upgrade to Storable version 3.41 to remediate the issue.
