Multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities in libreswan's IKEv1 and IKEv2 implementations (CVE-2026-50721, CVSS 8.1; CVE-2026-50722, CVSS 8.1; CVE-2026-12413, CVSS 7.5) can be triggered via specially crafted RSA-SHA1 authentication payloads or malformed fragmentation. Affected versions are libreswan prior to version 5.3.1, with CVE-2026-12413 specifically affecting versions 4.6 through 5.3. The fix is to upgrade libreswan to version 5.3.1.
